#HERHONORDALLAS
Her Honor highlights the 44 Black female judges who serve Dallas County, Texas. Dallas County is the home to more Black female judges than any other county in the country. Dallas-Fort Worth is the fastest growing metroplex in the U.S. and the Black population has doubled since the start of the pandemic but is that why Black women are reigning in Dallas County?
We’ve profiled five of these judges for you: the Hon. Gracie Lewis, the Hon. Cheryl Shannon, the Hon. Shequitta Kelly, the Hon. Tonya Parker, and the Hon. Dominique Torres - Williams. Get to know them, their passions, and even how they like their coffee. Click the button below if you want to see interviews from more of these powerhouses.
